Current Series

Coming in March : Foundations Series

This 12 week series will begin on Monday, March 9th and run until Monday, May 25th, from 10:00 am until 11:30 am.  Clients will learn proper body movement mechanics, how to properly use the gym equipment at Pure Training Studio, how to transition exercises to the home, how to prevent injury and develop individual protocols for development of balance and strength, and about best practices for ongoing health and wellness.  Come for any, or all, of the classes as they build upon one another in the development of ability and understanding.  Clients are encouraged attend all classes, for the entire class session, or attend those classes that fit their individual schedules for any amount of time during any individual session.

Pricing Information

$80 total cost for all 12 classes for non-members.
This series is offered free to existing Pure members.

35 years ago, after a car accident, I never thought I could be the gal in these pictures.

For 3 years I worked with my Physical Therapist, Vic O,  and in time began to work for him for several more years. Over that time I observed the resilience of the human body and the outcomes of persistence. I had found my passion.

That meant moving to Santa Rosa, Ca. and going back to school.
By 1995 I had my license as a physical therapist assistant, my dream job !
I worked in all types of facilities and saw many things.
In 1995 I moved on back to these mountains and continued on as a P.T.A. here in Mariposa till several years ago. I loved every moment.

During this time I also pushed my own physical and mental capabilities. I did so much more than I thought I could do.         

What was the key ?

It was my incredible work-out partner Mike, who challenged me to press on.
He also carried a substantial amount of Bandaids when I failed.

All this brings me to today, here in this place.

My role here, I think, is to stimulate you, to encourage you toward your goals.
To help you move better with greater ease, safely, maintaining good function, joyfully for the years ahead.

                                        These things I know….
  1. I have more questions than I have answers, BUT the answers are out there.
  2. We first have to make it possible…then we make it happen.
  3. Proper preparation prevents poor performance.
  4. Small increments over time produces dynamic results.
